What Would Happen? Part 2

What would happen if you, in relationship with the risen Savior, discovered the good works He has created in advance for you to do?   

That list could include all kinds of things that would make you feel uncomfortable. Maybe the list would have you praying for someone standing or sitting right in front of you that they would be healed or delivered from some kind of oppression. Maybe the list would have you walk up to someone and tell them something you believe the Lord wants them to hear. Maybe you take a panhandler to lunch and witness to Him about the love of God.   

Imagine what could happen if He asked you to do something… additional? Or, different from what you already know or do? What if, hearing Him in relationship, you said something when you didn’t know what to say, prayed in a different way from the way you’ve prayed before, did what He asked you to do in the moment, and it turned out to be amazing, it turned out to be a greater work?  

Would these list items make the original list you created of no value? I doubt it. Your list has a fair chance of being good, and you should do the things in that list when you have an opportunity because it is a good list.   

We have works to do and we’re going to need faith to do them!
