Something More

If you’re already a believer, you already know the things on the checklist. Have quiet time every day. Read your Bible. Pray. Go to church, Tithe.

The checklist isn’t wrong. Please do the checklist. The checklist isn’t the relationship with Jesus, though, is it? The relationship is…something more. It’s moving forward and then waiting. It’s seeking and seeking and finally finding.  

None of this relationship thing comes by completing a checklist; it isn’t earned by task completion. Relationship with God Almighty comes by faith.  

A good question for you is this: Do you have the faith needed to grow in the relationship?  

I think the answer is, “YES!”  

The answer “YES!” is embedded in all the scriptures quoted in my earlier blogs. In fact, Yes! is embedded in many other writings and in many more scriptires. Everything you have in relationship with Him and in the kingdom is already yours. By faith. Not by anything you can do except to believe.  

We have works to do and we’re goin to need faith to do them!
