What Does God Think of You?

In our latest blog we ended with this statement, “Whether you believe you could ever do any of the works we are talking about, it is important that you know what He thinks of you and what place you have in His house.”  

 If that’s true, then the right questions should be, “What does God think of you?” What place do you have in His House? His Kingdom? Whatever He thinks of you, what place you have is only relevant if you believe in Him.   

 Remember that your belief in Him is what makes you belong in and to Him. So, the first most basic question you should be able to answer for yourself is, “What do you believe that makes you a  Christian?”   

Begin with this understanding. You cannot enter His kingdom without faith. You can see this in Ephesians 2 and in Hebrews11:  

  “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9     

“And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6     

We have works to do and we’re going to need faith to do them!
