Greater Works?

Because I believe in Him, I have relationship with Him. I belong.

Because I have relationship with Him, I belong in Him and to Him. I can ask questions of Him.

Something that has troubled me for a while is that I don’t seem to be the only one who wasn’t doing much in His Kingdom that could be described as a work of faith. Yet Jesus said that we (all of us) would do the works He did and even greater works (John 14:12). In this blog series, from the book, “From Here …By Faith,” I present four related passages from Jesus, Paul, and James that communicate this awesome idea.

As I moved into writing about the idea above, that you and I have relationship because of belief, or faith, I saw something that I have missed as a believer of more than 50 years. Look at what He says throughout the New Testament about you. Everything He communicates is based on an understanding that you belong in and to His Kingdom!

It is by right of this belonging that you can ask Him questions and build a deeper relationship with Him. So, what questions should you ask? How should you ask them? Where could you start?

We have works to do and we’re going to need faith to do them!
