The title, From Here…By Faith is a take-off on the title of my first book, We Can Get There From Here. Wherever you are in your walk with God today is your “Here.” Progress on your walk with Him requires faith. In fact, it is no overstatement to say you can’t even begin this walk without faith.  

When I wrote my first book, We Can Get There From Here, published in 2013, I had a sense that I would write two more books. This book was written after a lot of procrastination and resistance, Followed by submission and then obedience. As I was completing the first book, “We Can Get There From Here (2013) I thought the Lord wanted me to write a book about faith. I was not excited, to say the least.  

First of all, I don’t have a long list of faith accomplishments from which to draw. I certainly don’t think of myself as any kind of expert on the topic of faith. So, why in the world should you read this book, then? It’s a fair question. In the proceeding blogs to be posted in the next few days, I will tell you a couple of stories.

These stories will help you understand the reasons behind writing the book.  I think it will help you know I have plenty of struggles understanding faith and how to grow in it.
