Greater Works! Part 1

Jesus is known by His believers as God and by those who do not believe as a Prophet. Many things He said can be considered prophecies. One of these prophecies occurs when He is having a talk with His disciples as recorded in John 14. It appears that there may well have been a larger group with Him as He was talking.  

In John 14:12, Jesus is concluding a conversation He’s been having with Thomas and Philip. You can see what Christ is saying in His conclusion: “…they will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.”  

We have works to do and we’re going to need faith to do them!

The next several blogs will focus on this passage from John 14.

'Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. '
