Should I Stay or Should I Go?
What should you do? What do you do? How do you do it?
I mean for you to ask yourself these questions when you encounter a circumstance that seems to demand attention.
Should you be passive, waiting for some thing good to happen when it seems like something bad is going to happen?
Or, should you do something, anything, believeing something good is going to happen even when it sells like something bad is going to happen?
Old cartoons would have a scene like this. Something like a pipe bursts and somebody yells out, “Don’t just stand there! Do something!!”
To be fair to you and me. I don’t have the answer. I do have an opinion. But, even my opinion is less important than taking the time to ask the Lord, “What do you want to do?”
I think these questions are important to you in your walk with the Lord. Let me encourage you to talk to Him, to continue deepening your relationship with Him. He is always speaking and He will let you know what He wants you to do, even if that is, “Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
If it is better to be active in your faith, how can you do that? What would your activity be?
If it is better to be passive when considering your faith, how would your passivity help your faith?
We have works to do and we’re going to need faith to do them!
